The modern approach to power measurement is the SWP-200 series of power meters from BDI. Measurement of power from internal transmitter D.C. samples, external R.F. directional couplers, D.C. elemental type line sections and line sections fitted with R.F. sample elements can all be accommodated with this versatile product. With the added four port switch control feature you have a complete transmitter controller/monitor with automatic changeover upon loss of R.F. signal. A proprietary three strike reflected power protection system is included to interrupt interlocks upon high reflected power. Transient events such as lightning are ignored thus there is less lost air time. Simple front panel menus guide the user for setup and programmed operation. Unlike diode detection power measurement methods the DPS-100 sensor supplied with the SWP-200 Series is not senistive to modulation and crest factor of the measured wave making it an excellent choice for digital power measurement for both radio and TV applications.
The SWP-200 Power Monitor System is the only solution that combines power measurement and four port switch control in one convenient package.
